Carolina 31-21 over New Orleans, finish 2006 8-8

Kindal Moorehead, Carolina PanthersDefensive tackle Kindal Moorehead and the Carolina Panthers knew that regardless of the outcome of Sunday’s season finale at New Orleans, they would be watching the playoffs from home. So they decided to make this game their own playoff game.

Behind quarterback Jake Delhomme and a ball-hawking defense, the Panthers stymied the Saints, 31-21, to finish the season 8-8, 5-1 in the NFC South.
